Hashif Moideen
Hashif Moideen is a seasoned Management Consultant and Corporate Trainer with more than twenty three years of corporate and consultancy experiences in various industries including Oil & Gas, Banking, Education, Manufacturing and Service industries.
He has developed and delivered hundreds of innovative and engaging trainings on various topics including Business Excellence, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Business Continuity, Risk and Crisis Management, Change and Transformation Management, Design Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Development, Personal Branding, Motivation and Self Development.
He holds an MBA from University of Madras, India and an MSc in Total Quality Management (TQM) form Manipal University, India. He is a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence from American Society for Quality (ASQ), a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a PMP. He is a certified assessor of EFQM Model, Dubai Innovation Award and a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001. He has completed his ISO 20000 Implementor course and carries COBIT and TOGAF certification. A constant learner, Hashif completed more than thirty MOOC certifications on various topics from world class universities during the Covid lock down period.
Starting his career in banking with Standard Chartered Bank in Mumbai, India; he moved to UAE to work with an Oil & Gas multinational company, National Oilwell Varco (NOV) USA. There he gained a comprehensive understanding on the running of an organization by working in different departments and areas including Customer Service, Finance, Operations, HSE and Quality. He was instrumental in setting up the Business Excellence Model Framework based on EFQM model; a special task assigned to him by the GM.
As the group Business Excellence /Quality Manager of Al Bawardi Enterprises (AE) and its group companies, Hashif gained significant insights and understanding on the functioning and operations of different industries including IT, Oil & Gas, Telecom and Service.
During this time Hashif also worked as a corporate trainer and management consultant for external companies in supporting clients in developing strategies to achieve Organization’s Mission and Vison and lead multiple Lean Six Sigma projects.
His experience with ADIB and Al Hilal bank in different capacities and roles for over 10 year further enhanced and strengthened his understanding of the financial industry and the application of business excellence frame works in these industries.
Apart from being a Management Consultant and a sought after corporate trainer, Hashif is equally passionate about Personal Development. He is a certified speaker/trainer/consultant for John Maxwell Leadership Program and a Certified International NLP Practitioner.
Hashif is an adjunct lecturer with Emirates institute of Banking and Financial Services (EIBFS), Etisalat Academy and UAE Academy. Hashif is a regular author of articles on Quality/Business excellence and Human Development topics for different publications and journals.
He is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), American Society for Quality (ASQ), John Maxwell Leadership Team, USA and Professional Speakers Academy, UK.
